Paul Rombeek appointed CEO of the Rotom Group

Rotom Group welcomes Paul Rombeek as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 February. He succeeds Frank Weermeijer, who served as interim CEO in 2025. Former CEO Arjan Kuiper will remain involved with Rotom as a member of the Board.
The appointment follows a significant restructuring within the Rotom Group, which sharpened the focus on its core activity: circular load carriers. With this step, Rotom is strengthening its commitment to sustainable growth, innovation, and further professionalization of the organization.

Leadership and strategy

As CEO of the Rotom Group, Paul will be responsible for the strategic direction, operational performance, and continued growth of the organization across all countries where Rotom operates. Key priorities include:

  • Strengthening Rotom’s market position
  • Driving innovation and digitalization
  • Improving processes and collaboration across locations
  • Expanding sustainable and customer-focused solutions

The emphasis will be on consistent execution of the strategy and maintaining an efficient organization, enabling Rotom to respond flexibly to changing market conditions.

Innovation and sustainability

Innovation and digitalization are central to the agenda. By leveraging data, automation, and digital solutions, operational efficiency will be enhanced, and customer service further optimized.

Sustainability remains a core focus. The continued development of Rotom’s circular business model, combined with supporting customers in achieving their sustainability goals, contributes to the Group’s long-term ambitions.

International experience

Paul Rombeek brings extensive international experience in logistics, aviation, and supply chain management. He led the start-up and growth of air and ocean freight consolidation at Flexport in the US, served as Chief Commercial Officer at Jetstar Asia in Singapore, and played a key role in establishing Tiger Indonesia. He has also held several management positions at Air France-KLM in multiple countries.

This international background provides a strong foundation for leading the globally operating Rotom Group.

Vision for the future

"Rotom combines innovation, sustainability, and customer focus in a strong business model. As CEO, I aim to further grow the Group, strengthen collaboration across the organization, and make a positive impact on the future of circular logistics," said Paul Rombeek.

With this appointment, the Rotom Group looks forward with confidence to a new phase of strategic growth, operational excellence, and sustainable impact.
