Hoza, a Dutch leading manufacturer of roll containers and metal load carriers has been taken over by Rotom Europe B.V. in the Netherlands and the commercial director of Hoza Logistic Solutions, Mr. Klaas B. Oolders.
Due to this acquisition Rotom takes as a strategic partner together with KeBoolders Investments 100% of the shares of the former financial shareholders. Director Frits Visser resigned and the new management consists of Mr Klaas B. Oolders.
Rotom facilitates logistical means for transportation and storage in 9 countries in Europe. By merging the two companies a strong metal company is created which serves the European market through 15 own companies. The group turnover is approx. € 100 MLN with 400 employees, including 125 in the Netherlands. Arjan Kuiper CEO Rotom Europe: "We have been doing a lot of business in roll containers and we outsource production to China or Eastern Europe, together with Hoza we can now produce in-house, shorten delivery times to customers and deliver the high-end market."
Hoza is strong in the development and production of roll containers and has its own engineering and prototype department. In Scheemda at Groningen a new production facility is built of 22,000 m2 in 2014 and equipped with a modern robotized production line. The company focuses on several market sectors such as Food and Non Food Retail, E-Commerce, Post and Parcel, Flora and Industrial companies. In addition to the production the company takes care of their customers with repair, maintenance and rental activities. Hoza Logistic Solutions will serve as an independent company and continue to operate under its own brand name which will make use of the network and services of the Rotom Group.
